From Frustration to Refinement
PLTÉ actually started very simply: My girlfriend and a friend of hers had been complaining for a while that they couldn't find good Pilates socks anywhere. Everything they bought didn't fit well, felt cheap, or simply didn't provide grip.
I wanted to help them and decided to make a grip sock myself that fit well, looked good, and truly offered quality. Not dropship quality, but something made with care and love.
At one point, other people started asking about them. Friends, instructors, even studios wanted to know where those socks came from, and if I could make more.
From that small gesture, PLTÉ grew, a brand that I am now building with a lot of passion, care, and dedication. Because everyone deserves a refined, comfortable, and beautiful Pilates experience.
From Dutch soil
Our roots lie in the Netherlands. We believe in the power of simplicity: minimalist designs without unnecessary distractions. Every detail serves a purpose, from the precise placement of the grip to the refined finish of the label. We combine a down-to-earth approach with pure aesthetics.
The studio
This is where every collection begins: with pencil on paper and a clear vision. In our studio, we translate the power and discipline of Pilates into refined designs. We spend hours perfecting the fit and selecting materials that feel soft yet perform powerfully. The result is a design born in the Netherlands and ready for the world.
